We are seeking an experienced cardiologist to join our growing team. In this position, you will examine and treat disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system. Diagnoses patients with the aid of diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings. Also may perform invasive medical procedures to help with diagnosis or treatment. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. 
Requirements include M.D. or equivalent, license to practice medicine or eligibility for licensure in Arkansas, BC/BE in sleep medicine.  The salary is commensurate with experience. 

Candidates will provide cardiovascular services to include attending on the cardiovascular medicine inpatient and consult services and attending in the clinic and noninvasive laboratory. Candidates will share night, weekend and holiday noninvasive coverage at UAMS and VA medical facilities. 

Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Years of experience may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.
