Integrated Medicine Service Line

We are seeking a General Internal Medicine Physician or a Family Medicine Physician for an ambulatory direct patient care position at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. This position will be 100% outpatient, no hospital care duties are required. The compensation package includes a competitive salary and generous benefits.

The chosen incumbent will provide direct patient care and will practice in collaboration with our Advanced Practice Nurses in one of our Neighborhood primary care clinics. These clinics are located at Rahling Road in West Little Rock, Capital Mall in downtown Little Rock, and in Maumelle, a residential area located across the beautiful Arkansas River. Our Primary Care clinics use Epic EHR integrated across the UAMS campus and Neighborhood Clinics. We participate in the Arkansas Medicaid/Blue Cross/Qualchoice PCMH Program and our Rahling Road location is a participating site in the CPC+ Program.

Our faculty are expected to be well trained, evidence-based, thoughtful, facile with our EMR, and collaborative with the entire medical team. In addition to patient care, there will be opportunities to participate in Quality Improvement projects within the division. This position requires achievement and maintenance of board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine.
