Radiation Oncologist
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is actively recruiting clinical faculty at all academic ranks; assistant and associate professorship. Candidates with a strong record of clinical research are encouraged to apply. Position will focus on patient care and contribute to the department’s clinical education program through mentorship and use of supervisory skills in an academic setting. ABR board certification or certification eligibility is required.

The Department of Radiation Oncology is a growing academic department and part of the clinical, research, and education programs within the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. UAMS is the only comprehensive cancer treatment and research center in the State of Arkansas and serves a population of 2.6 million people. The Department of Radiation Oncology offers competitive starting compensation packages.

Requirements include a MD degree, ABR board certification or eligibility, and demonstrated clinical competency in Radiation Oncology.   The individual selected for this position will focus on direct patient care as well as other academically related activities.
