ACADEMIC PHysiatrist: The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), is seeking a board certified/qualified physiatrist to join the Department of PM&R as a full-time assistant/associate professor. Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is available either on tenure track or non-tenure track. This position will be part of an expanding academic group of 6 faculty physiatrists.
This full-time position will be part of a four-physiatrist rotation providing inpatient and outpatient care as well as seeing inpatient PM&R consultations. Performance of physiatric procedures (neurotoxin and other injection procedures, MSK ultrasound, EMG studies, etc.) is optional. Responsibilities include patient care and teaching residents and medical students.
