General Internal Medicine Physician
“The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ Department of Internal Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor to serve the Department’s Division of General Internal Medicine in Little Rock, AR.  This Internist [Physician] will establish his/her panel of patients and will provide direct patient care to ambulatory patients in an outpatient clinic, in collaboration with other faculty Internists and Advance Practice Nurses.   The Incumbent will participate in the faculty call pool answering after-hours calls for ambulatory patients.  Participation in monthly department and division meetings and meeting other requirements of the University will be mandatory.  There is potential for some teaching/precepting of students and residents but this is not a core requirement for this position.  There will be no hospital/inpatient responsibilities. There may be an opportunity for some after-hours clinic and/or moonlighting in after-hours clinic setting. 

Requirements include M.D. or equivalent; completion of residency program (3 years) in Internal Medicine; and license to practice medicine or eligibility for licensure in Arkansas. Salary is commensurate with experience.
