Washington Regional is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Trauma Surgery. This full-time nocturnist role is hospital-based.
Key Responsibilities
- Surgical consultations and responding to ED for trauma alerts.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Assist in diagnosing and managing medical and surgical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and treatments.
- Ensure accurate documentation and complete discharge summaries.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
For Nurse Practitioners:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required with Acute Care certification
- Licensed and certified as an NP in the State of Arkansas
- National certification required.
- Experience in trauma surgery, or critical care preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
For Physician Assistants:
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies required.
- Completion of an accredited PA program.
- Licensed in the State of Wisconsin; NCCPA certification required.
- Experience in trauma surgery, or critical care preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.

Education: Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or Physician Assistant
Experience: 2+ years in trauma, vascular surgery, or critical care (Preferred)
License/Certification: NP or PA license and national certification (required)
